Hope Community Action Africa will be starting the Community Care Initiatives Project in the Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement. The project aims to empower local leaders to better serve vulnerable children.
The initiative will include:
- An annual leadership course designed for pastors and leaders of family, youth, and children’s ministries.
- Objective Community Care Training focused on helping leaders identify and support children affected by trauma.
- The development of child-focused community care programs to ensure children have better access to basic needs.
Our work in this partnership will include:
- Designing the curriculum and content for the Leadership Excellence course.
- Providing trainers and facilitators for the leadership and community care training sessions.
- Offering guidance and expertise in developing child-focused community care initiatives.
- Mobilizing necessary resources to support the project activities.
The collaboration between HCA and Bethsaida will strengthen the Church’s constitutional objectives 4, 7, and 24, which focus on promoting behavior change, aiding vulnerable children, and establishing sustainable, self-help income-generating projects.
