Strengthened by Cornerstone Partnership

Thanks to Cornerstone’s generous contributions, we are able to maintain a well-equipped and welcoming resource center in Kisoro under the Kisoro OVC Intervention Project (KOVCIP). This center serves as a vital hub where children and caregivers gather for mission-driven meetings, and where they can access our dedicated staff and counselors.

In addition, Cornerstone is supporting one of our income-generating initiatives—part of a pilot program comprising ten startup projects. This particular venture is co-managed with a local women’s group under our guidance, known as the Duterimbere (Forward) Group.

Every two years, Cornerstone sends a mission team to Uganda to minister alongside us for a period of 2–3 weeks. Their involvement has been instrumental in shaping the vision and direction of KOVCIP. In fact, the project was born in December 2021, inspired by a vision shared by Mr. Havard and Mrs. Maria Nygjerde—one that continues to align deeply with the mission and impact of KOVCIP today.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Cornerstone Ministry Norway, and to Mr. Havard and Mrs. Maria Nygjerde, for their unwavering support and partnership.
