After a successful research and advocacy process on access to safe water in Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement, Hope Community Action (HCA) Africa will be running a WASH (WAter, Sanitation and Hygiene) campaign to enhance community awareness on hygiene and prevention of avoidable skin diseases.
We will use sport to reach out to youth and children in selected communities in the settlement, using a 3-step approach: Play – Talk – Assign. In the third step, participants will be encouraged to reach out to ten others and help them learn what they have learnt.
We thank God for Leif and April Jacobsen, who have committed to supporting HCA with sports equipment and printing of campaign materials for this crucial mission.
The campaign will be preceded by Leaders’ training scheduled for the last week of November and first week of December 2019.
