We completed all our planned activities by scale, at end of December 2019 despite low funding! God is truly in our favor.
In the month of January we ran a sports outreach to Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement along with a team from The King’s Active Foundation UK, Mr. Richard Holmes and Ms. Tendekai Mukoyi. 380 young people participated. We taught 130 youth about sports and ran activities with them. The next day we ran a WASH Campaign with 250 children. Our sports activities are full of fun, integrated with life skills, career motivation and health awareness.
We held a strategic conference for 13 leaders representing several organisations and schools in Kampala. We introduced our work and shared possibilities for partnerships, to ensure we impact as many young people as possible countrywide.
God has given us a growing team of Godly and reliable staff and volunteers. We now have 1 full time staff, 2 Lead Volunteers, 5 nation-wide outreach volunteers and 6 community based volunteers for Rwamwanja Refugee Settlement.
