Emmanuel Manishimwe is a family oriented writer and a social worker serving with Hope Community Action Africa as Team Leader (July 2019). Emmanuel was born in South-West Uganda. He grew up in Kisoro, a beautiful mountainous district at the Ugandan border with Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. He’s the 4th of 8 children born to Rev. Victor & Mrs. Rosemary Kalimwabo. He’s married to Charity and God has blessed them with three God-fearing sons; Favor, Danny and Jeremiah.

Emmanuel holds a Masters Degree in Development Studies, Kampala International University, Uganda. He worked with the Diocese of Muhabura as Children’s Ministry Field Worker from 1998 to 2002, Diocese of Muhabura Youth Coordinator in 2002, Christian Sports Contact National Coordinator from 2003 – 2007, King’s Sports Ministry National Director from 2008 to 2012 and Every Generation Ministries as East Africa Coordinator from May 2013 – June 2019). 

Emmanuel is part of the team developing HCA training curriculum and resources. 

Emmanuel has also written two books:
